BASA 2011 Annual Visit
As previously advised, the BASA Annual visit this year will be to the city of Lincoln and, in particular the Sir Joseph Banks Conservatory at the Lawn Visitor Centre followed by a tour of the Bishop’s Palace and its contemporary heritage garden.
The visit will commence at 1.30pm at the Sir Joseph Banks Conservatory and will be completed by 3.40pm, leaving time to visit other historical buildings nearby including the Castle, Cathedral, Usher Gallery and The Collection (archaeological and arts exhibits).

BASA 2011 AGM
The BASA AGM for 2011 will be held at 4.30pm on Thursday 7th July at the Bishop’s Palace, Lincoln.  An agenda for the AGM accompanies this notice.  Elections will be held at the AGM and if you are interested in contributing to the work of BASA through membership of the Committee, please put your name forward to the Secretary – who is also able to give more detail on the work of the Committee.

Annual Dinner
The day will be rounded off with the BASA Annual Dinner, to be held at the Lincoln Hotel, Eastgate Lincoln, from 7pm.  A three course menu choice is available and overnight accommodation is available, if required, with prices of £75 for a single room and £85 for a double, which can be arranged through BASA.

The cost of attending the afternoon tour and evening dinner is £25 per person.  Please let Paul Rooke (Secretary)  know as soon as possible if you wish to attend on 7th July
